About Our Attorney 
Ryan P. Keenan, Esq. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California where he received his Bachelor of Arts.  During college he studied justice, equality, and philosophy as a graduate of the Integral Program.  After graduation he joined the Lasallian Volunteer Corps as a volunteer teacher at the De LaSalle Blackfeet School on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana.   Through this experience, Mr. Keenan saw the desperate financial situations of many of the Native American families he taught and decided to become a legal advocate for people in financial need. 

After this influential year, Mr. Keenan spent three years at Loyola University Chicago School of Law honing in his legal skills while continuing his advocacy for those in need at the Cook County State's Attorney Child Protection Division, the Illinois EPA Office, and a law firm specializing in consumer bankruptcy. 

After law school, Mr. Keenan worked for a large consumer bankruptcy firm.  While the legal experience was invaluable, the large scale operation of the firm made client interactions impersonal.  Motivated to provide a more compassionate and personal experience for his clients, Mr. Keenan opened his own firm.

In his free time, Mr. Keenan likes to spend time with his wife and three children exploring the East Bay.  Mr. Keenan enjoys hiking the various trails of the East Bay hills, bike riding through the vineyards of Livermore, and camping throughout Northern California's National Parks.   Mr. Keenan is a practicing Catholic that takes the message of forgiveness to heart.  The essence of bankruptcy is debt forgiveness and it is this basic idea that drives Mr. Keenan to be your bankruptcy attorney.
